Here you will find photos of Finca Serina which is being offered for sale . The site is approximately 12,000 meters or 3 acres. The property is rectangular in shape and fenced. The north boundary faces the road which goes to Parque Nacional, Volcan Barú. The east boundary boarders my neighbor and friend, Dino Barkema. The south boundary is bordered undeveloped land with a gully running west to east. The east boundary boarders our neighbors the Victoria family.

The casita or guest house offers approximately 600 square feet of living space with a nice covered porch to view beautiful sunsets and the stars and twinkling lights of Rio Sereno, approximately 40 miles to the west. This is the boarder between Costa Rica and Panama. The casita is self sufficient from the main dwelling. Landscaping between the main house and the casita provide a modicum of privacy yet the distance between the two is easily traversed. Gas on demand hot water is provided along with a gas stove. Electricity is 110 volts 60 hertz AC.

The main residence is approximately 2600 square feet under roof including a 12 x 30 foot covered patio with a direct view of the summit of Mount Baru. There are two covered areas attached for parking on the west (front) and south side of the home. The interior great room / kitchen / dining / living room is approximately 30 x 30 feet. ON the east center wall is a gas burning fireplace which can also accommodate wood. Gas stainless steel appliances are in the kitchen. A side by side refrigerator freezer with ice and cold water dispenser round out the kitchen appliances. An 8x4 foot tiled island provides ample kitchen work space and storage. Off the southeast corner of the great room is a pass through powder room leading to a laundry room which has access to the south covered parking area. A north leading hall to the master suite has a bedroom to the west which has a walk in closet and it's own bath room. To the east is my office which is easily converted to a bedroom if desired. The master bedroom is 15 x 13 feet with a Hunter ceiling fan. The walk in is located on the west wall of the master and is full length. The master bath has a counter with dual sinks and mirrors, a Jacuzzi type soaking tub and a glass blocked separate shower. Electricity is 220 volts 150 amp 60 hertz service to the main residence with circuit breakers and main included. There is also an external plug which allows a generator to power the home if necessary. 120 volt outlets provide normal service throughout the house. Gas on demand hot water is plumbed throughout the home.
