Excavation Completed
Well, the excavation with the tractor is now complete. We had no idea how much dirt had to be moved. Steel rebar will be delivered next week and the work will begin on the footing.
The ledge in the background of the above picture is 7 feet. It never appeared to be that far above the low point of the house.
Serina is sitting where the front of the house will be. The shed in the back is for the construction materials and tools.
Though it doesn't look it, the drop off at the edge of the grass is that 7 feet I mentioned earlier.
