Construction Begins Again
It's February 1 and construction started again yesterday, January 31. Blocks are being layed down on the footer and so the the walls will begin to rise as I watch my bank account fall.
This is a view looking towards the southwest. You can see blocks stacked in the foreground ready to be used in the construction of the walls.
Cecilio is adjusting a form for one of the columns that will hold up the patio roof.
Serina investigates as Cecilio continues to adjust the form.
A little later in the day, you can now see both forms are erected and propped for pouring. These are the exterior supports for the patio roof.
This picture shows the north form of the column for the patio and to the right you can see the corner of the house. That corner will be be the master bedroom.
