The chimney gets a little taller
At the end of today, February 16, the chimney has grown a little taller. The flue pipe was completed late this afternoon. So tomorrow will bring an installation of a 13 foot flue into the chimney base. The overall height of the chimney will be 17 feet.

This view shows where the driveway will approach looking north. The front of the house is to the right. The foreground column supports the carport roof. The two in the background support the drive up roof which will allow entry to the house while providing protection from the elements.
The wall in the foreground is the support for the island that will provide additional workspace and seating in the kitchen area in the great room.
