The Caballete makes it's first appearance
The roof is starting to look like a roof. The first of 3 hip sections is almost complete.
This shot was taken from the front porch of the guesthouse and is facing southeast. Cecilio is on the left. FiFi is standing on a cariola. Edwin is bent over getting ready to secure a caballete to the ridge running over the master bedroom and Juan is holding his hand up while straddling the peak of the roof.
FiFi and Edwin tack down the caballete or ridge cap.
Juan works the peak. Here you can see the ridge caps forming shelter for the ridges below them.
Gee, just like a high wire act at the circus!
