The roof over the bedrooms is almost complete
After some concerns as to how the Toledo sheets were laying, I had a discussion with Cecilio this morning. He told me that the reason the sheets didn't appear right was because they needed to be leveled. I wanted to see this right away and not wait for the entire roof to be laid. Sure enough, what Cecilio said was true. After the sheets got leveled and the edges riveted in key locations the Toledo that was laid appeared fine. Well enough blah blah blah. Let me show you some pictures.

The leveling process is well under way and the Toledo is starting to look as it should.

Juan takes a moment to wave hello.

Cariola fabrication is still going on.

Edwin gives a high five.

As you can see, the Toledo is up to the north wall of the great room.

Building Inspector Serina searches for tempting morsels.

Welding the last caballo (truss) in place.

A good view of the the layers that make up the roof. On top, Toledo, The sheets overhanging are insulation. The wires running vertically hold the insulation in place. The cariolas hold everything in place.

Serina coming down the hall from the master bedroom. Entrance to the left is the guest bed room and bath. To the right is my study.

Same view but this shows the roofing and the two grey tubes are electrical conduit.

Looking out from the master bathroom. The long window to the right will be glass blocks.

This view is looking northeast into the master bedroom. You can see the cariolas overhead.
