The Rainy Season begins

The rainy season is beginning for 2006.  Some days are still clear and dry, but the rains are starting to make their afternoon visits.  As a result of the long absent moisture, things are starting to green up and some of our Hibiscus plants are showing some promising blooms.

This bloom is bigger than the little plant supporting it.  This one was compliments of a cutting from Janet Lee.

The colors and sizes these plants come in are pretty varied.

See what I mean?

This one has the ruffled look of a Double Hibiscus.

The rock wall looks a little different than it did 9 months ago.

This is a carved stone statue made locally which adds accent to the grounds.

Some of the blooms on top if the first tier.

Some orchids in bloom jutting out from the rocks.

One of the Christmas Poinsettia plants with a deep red bract.

This stone carving sits in front of the house
