The Rainy season is here
Friday is here and the rainy season has begun in earnest. Sometimes the stuff comes down pretty heavily. I don't expect the road coming up from below to last the week end. I made a trip hauling 20 bags of cement today and there is one spot that looked and was a little dicey. Fortunately there is another way. Unfortunately it goes through the dump, but at least, it's passable.

This shot was taken this morning while the sun was still more or less out. You can see the fresh cement of the patio floor.

This view shows the reinforcing steel in place in the carport. The back of the carport has received its first batch of concrete.

The rain has begin, but work continues. Edwin on the left and Juan on the right float the concrete with a cariloa. The cement is working its way around the carport to the front of the drive up.

Roger stares off towards the house as concrete is mixed.

Fifi is centered while Roger continues to stare. The vertical streaks are rain drops.

Edwin and Juan work the float. Cecilio stands with rake in hand.

Here comes 16 cubic meters, roughly 18 yards, of sand.

Cement gets mixed while the sand is dumped.

The sand comes down and so does the rain.

Cecilio stares out while Felix finishes the cement in the background. As you can see, it's really coming down in this photo.

Julio is flanked by two workers from Franklin Jurado. They brought up a partial order of cement.
