Just a little closer
It's the beginning of a new week and some of Seņor Amaya's boys are at work installing the dry wall ceiling. Work was also done on the fireplace and the pizza oven. So to bring you up to speed........
This view of the back of the house shows the base coat sealer applied. IF you look along the sidewalk, you can see the final color has been brushed in. By way of contrast, the shelter for the pizza oven has not yet received the base coat.
Speaking of pizza ovens, the form has been completely removed from inside. Still need to put the door frame in and bring the chimney up through the roof.
This is an interior view of the dome. The bright out of focus section at the top of the photo is the refractory cement shelf which holds the chimney.
This photo shows the mantle installed over the fireplace.
Dry wall gets installed in the hallway.
The master bedroom ceiling is in place. The entrance to the left is the walk in closet.
The hallway is to the left. Straight ahead is the bathroom. To the right is the walk in. The red marks on the wall are from snapping a chalk line for the cariola supports.
