A moment to remember and kitchen cabinets
It's been a little over a week since I last put up pictures. Things don't always go well, even in paradise. I was forcefully reminded of that last Sunday, August 28th when I lost my best friend and helper of 8 years. Serina was taken from me. Her passing was sudden and shocking even after a futile trip to the veterinarian earlier in the morning.

Edelberto brought more cabinets yesterday and now the oven is installed. We still have a way to go before the kitchen is complete, hopefully that part will be finished next week.
This is the view coming from the hallway. Violet tidies up.
The wood used in the cabinet work is called Roble (roblay).
Cabinets still have to be installed under the stove, sink, and island.
