Introducing Sombra

Being without a German Sheppard is not the way  I want to be.  So, today, we brought home the latest edition to the family.  We picked her out last Saturday and it took till bringing her home this morning before  this  little girl had a name.  And that was inspired by the way she followed me around on the property, just like my SHADOW.  Yep her name is Sombra which is Spanish for shadow.  So, without further ado,  permit me to introduce the latest member of the Baio clan, Sombra.

Sombra sits in the flowers at her home in Cerro Punta.

Here she sits looking over the yard she will soon leave.

Here is a little closer view

A pretty pose.

The view just before we got her.

Time to go to the new digs while Sombra tries out Vi's lap.

No, Sombra, you are not in Kansas any more.

Time to investigate.

I wonder if it's ok to take a dump here.

This doesn't seem like the grass in Cerro Punta.

Now how did I get here?

The wind blows Sombra's ears up.

I think this is going to be all right.

Puppy work is exhausting.

Sombra has been with now for about a month.  She is now a little over 4 months old.  Below are some photos taken on October 5, 2005.
